Chaos Walls WIP(Completed)

For some reason I have a habit to name non finished artworks Fractalground with a number behind it. Mostly I come up with a title for artworks after it is finished.

In this upload I will make updates as it progresses and the final one will be uploaded seperately^____^

Took a part from the metal structure fractal rendering to create a foreground element with people walking and working on it. Created a gradient map with orange and blue/violett colours and set the layer to hue. Now it has more of a rusty metal look to it.

Painted in fog, which could be steam or smoke, since the environment feels like having high temperature.

Built in the fractal and matched the colours. Also added some indications of human figures on it.

Used old saved parameters of 3D fractals in Mandelbulb 3D and created some industrial metal structure like fractals. Made the background green to make a better selection in Photoshop afterwards.

Added more machinery textures set to Hard Light and Overlay. Also some elements overlapping the background. Added more fog.

Adding layers with blending mode Darken or Hard Light. Using machinery textures from CGTextures, matching the colour with the scenery and set layer blending mode to Hard Light. Painting in some atmosphere with soft cloud brush.
